Our Hardwood Components division can create dimensional hardwood lumber products to your exact specifications and pre-fabricate components in kits to speed up assembly at your facility. Our plant has recently been expanded to accommodate higher outputs, faster production, and a wider variety of products. We have all the capabilities and state-of-the-art equipment to handle your S4S lumber and dimensional hardwood needs.

Facility

• 75,000 square feet of production space

• 250,000 MBF kiln capacity, with multiple acres of air-drying space

• Rough mill, automated defecting, multiple gluing lines (up to 16’), moulding, sanding, shaping, and drying

• Capabilities to manufacture glued panels, squares, furniture parts, and finger joint stock in multiple species

Equipment

• Optimizating cut-off line featuring a Wood Eye Scanner and Talon Saw from Eagle Machinery 

• 4 automated glue clamps, 1 glue clamp with capability to glue long material up to 16’

• 2 state of art moulders from Kentwood and Diehl

• Several gang rip saws by Newman and Eagle Machinery and 2 Northfield planers.

• Kilns:

  • 4 American wood Dryers with total capacity of 250,000 board feet

  • Annual throughput of 3.3 million board feet (2014)
