Yoder Lumber’s experienced Forest Management team has been harvesting Appalachian hardwood timber for more than 70 years. 

We are a third-generation, family-owned business known for our integrity and for our fair, honest, and ethical business practices. We have harvested timber for multiple generations of landowners who trust us to keep our promises.

We are committed to sustainable forest management and protecting the environment. We are certified as a Master Logging Company according to the standards set by the Ohio Forestry Association and we are proud of our careful, professional approach to harvesting that follows the State’s Best Management Practices (BMPs) for reclamation.

In order to gain certification, Yoder Lumber must participate in several types of training that include BMPs for water quality and erosion control, chainsaw safety, and tree felling techniques, as well as CPR and first aid. Recertification is required every three years to maintain Master Logging Company status.
