For more than 70 years, Yoder Lumber and the Yoder family have been deeply engaged in community organizations, generously contributing to worthwhile causes and groups.

With our location in the heart of Amish country, a workforce that includes many Amish employees, and our own deeply-held Christian values, we are blessed to be part of a community that believes in helping others besides ourselves and building each other up. We take seriously our responsibility to God, to others, and to our own corporate well-being.

Community Involvement

Yoder Lumber and its employees are active supporters of many regional community organizations in Holmes County and east-central Ohio, including:

• School programs and youth organizations such as Little League baseball, soccer, and community softball programs;

• The American Cancer Society;

• Holmes County Fair;

• Local hospital and community service organizations, such as Holmes County 4-H;

• Youth career development programs and scholarships of the Hiland and West Holmes FFA;

• Organizations focused on Christian missions and other humanitarian needs, from local to international:

  • Samaritan’s Purse;

  • Local Mennonite churches;

  • Compassion International;

  • Mennonite Disaster Relief;

  • Young Life.
