Yoder Lumber’s modern millwork manufacturing plant produces S4S, dimensional lumber, and custom mouldings of Appalachian hardwood lumber and other wood species.

Sorting Facility & Equipment

  • 18 million board feet annual production capacity (2016)

  • 1.8 million on stick inventory and 1.8 million kiln dried inventory

  • MIC (Morris Industrial Corporation) 45 bay Bin Sorter with Softac Control system

    • Advanced photo-eye technology detects product based on width and length

    • Custom bundles of lumber are sorted based on your needs for width and length’s request

  • Yates American Planer

  • Eagle Machinery Group Chop Saw

  • Kentwood Gang Saw

  • 2 Kentwood Moulders

  • Cantek Belt Sander

  • Diehl straight line rip saw

  • Capacity: 30,000 square foot space

Millwork Services

  • Surfacing/Planing

  • Gang Ripping (ripping to particular desired width) for S2S

  • 42 inch Wide Belt Sander

  • Straight Line Rip 1 Edge

  • Automated Cut to Length Saw (Brute Saw)

  • 2 Kentwood Moulder with maximum of 6 inches thick with 12 inches wide

  • In-house custom knife grinding

  • Resaw – splitting thicker material to get optimal yield

  • Annual production of 4 million lineal feet of S4S and profile mouldings
